Just fantastic. Got the french onion soup based on all the reviews and it was so good. The strawberry mule was tasty and balanced, but the ammaretto cherry drink my husband got was too sweet. The food was all fantastic though. I got the beef on weck with onion rings. The roll was tasty and the beef was moist and tender. Im not usually a big horseradish person but the hoseradish complimented the sandwich nicely and was fresh. My husband got the beef stew and it was very delicious as well. The staff were nice and friendly and everyone enjoied their meal. For dessert I got the mounds dessert and it was incredible. The chocolate ganache was amazing and the whole dessert taste just like an upscale mounds bar. Would definitely go back here again.

This place just missed the mark on 5 stars. My husband sat down into a soaking wet seat while my seat was covered in crumbs. The cracks in the cushions needed a major vacuuming.
We got the stuffed banana peppers as an app. Very very good, however the peppers themselves were a big chewy. Overall a great flavor!
As for our dinners those were 100% on the money. My husband got the fish fry. We were both extremely impressed. The fish itself was of excellent quality, while the batter was clearly fried in a very clean fresh oil. As for the mashed potatoes... What is that flavor? While we appreciate the attempt at something different it was... Odd. The waiter sadly laughed off my pleas of its identification. I enjoyed every bite of my baked salmon as well. It was so tender and nearly melted in your mouth like butter. The asparagus was wonderfully complimentary to the fish and boasted or butter and garlic flavors all while being perfectly tender. Our waiter himself made the experience very enjoyable and was a personable gentleman. We will revisit and would certainly recommend to others.

My husband and I dined in during restaurant week and loved our meal. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cozy and historic. Our server was phenomenal. He was polite and always very speedy with our drinks and anything else we needed.
We both ordered off of the restaurant week menu. The garden salads were nice and quite substantial. I ordered the spinach and artichoke crusted haddock and my husband got the Hunter's beef stew. Both were very tasty and the fish especially was a very unique option that I had never seen before. For dessert we got chocolate chip bread pudding and caramel apple crisp. Both were delicious and simple. The portions of the meal were nice. We ate everything and were comfortable after our meal. I would highly recommend checking out Eagle House. The parking can be tricky, especially going during peak times and I would recommend having a reservation in advance.

Food was really good. Wings were huge and delicious, skin was a little underdone for me so if you like them crispy I would ask for recommend asking for that. French onion was really good, the cheese had the most satisfying pull. Would definitely come back.

We ordered takeout from Eagle House and were severely disappointed. I ordered the soup of the day, which was good, and the open melt Reuben, which was horrible. The bread on the sandwich was stale, it was piled high with cheese, and had absolutely no taste, whatsoever. My partner ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and said it was plain and flavorless. It’s pretty sad that the best part of our meal was the soup. We don’t understand how this place has a 4.5 star rating. Definitely do NOT recommend.
Edit: About 30 minutes after eating my meal, I got sick with stomach pains and felt like I was going to throw up. Now I definitely don’t recommend this place!
